Ertebrekers (or ‘heartbreakers’ in West-Flemish dialect) is yet another fantastic local band. Members Flip Kowlier, Peter Lesage and Jeffrey Bearelle released their debut ‘Otel’ in 2016 to critical acclaim. Just like first single ‘De Zji’, the rest of the album was full of mellow, funky and laidback tunes, the perfect compagnon for a cool summer night near the ocean.
Two summers on, and Ertebrekers bring back the summer vibe on their second album, ‘Crème’. West-Flemish rap bathing in soulful seventiesfunk and eigthies electronics: if the sun doesn’t show up during this gig, at least Ertebrekers will provide the warmth themselves.

Socially critical yet humorous hiphop.
Uberdope keep the flow of the album going by constantly switching between funny and socially critical. The video for comeback single ‘Wow’ proves how hungry the band are to be playing music again. Their sold-out show at the Vooruit was a blast, and this summer Bruges gets to join the party.
