Under the false pretence of a demo recording, Tom Van Laere, aka Admiral Freebee, lured his accompanying musicians to the studio. They eventually recorded the album 'Wake Up And Dream'. That's how you make an open-minded record: by not telling the musicians it's for real. 'Wake Up And Dream' is equipped with elaborate guitars, striking drums, swinging wind-instruments and zestful vocals. Musically and thematically Admiral Freebee explores new terrain, without disappointing previous adepts.

In 2012 Ferri impressed everyone with her debut 'Ferritales', including hit single 'On my Own', An album full of sunny swing jazz, showing her fascination for the unique singing styles of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone. Now there's second album 'Displeasure', a record filled with piano pop, R&B and soul jazz from the sixties and seventies and subtle electronica. Expect royally orchestrated songs with a hint of Ennio Morricone, George Gershwin and James Newton Howard.
